Ingo Star Cruiser opened and his new material was just miles ahead of his album, which is no loser anyway. He didn't really look all that comfortable onstage, though, until he transformed into the frontman for King Of Woolworths, and there he really shone, and by god, the KOW material made so much more sense live that I'm going back to rediscover the album. Matt Elliott (ex 3rd Eye Foundation) headlined, and I stayed for only a few of his songs with his cellist because it was boiling at the Barfly and I was getting weak and dizzy so off home I went.
